I offer my body for mutilation and drugs I’ll live in pain and affliction

But I’m alive and living the life prescribed

I’ll happily move from one season to the next skating along in mixed company

Hiding the pain and fear fighting the inevitable the impossible

But I’ll pray to whatever god to heal my ills to watch over my ignorance and self loathing

I’ll bury serious thoughts to health and wellness

Never reaching beyond the “brilliance” of Western medicine gods

The powerful government strongholds

While I suffer and those and I love to follow

I’ll cling to notions of destiny brought on by DNA

But today I awaken to the real legendary heroes

Those who love the planet who worship truth

And abide by the goodness of nature to nurture
